Stitched Paintings (ongoing)
My current project that started back in 2020 is a large ongoing mixed media pieces that explore painting and embroidery. I first make a painting in gouache on the linen and then work into the surface the embroidery. I am exploring my long fascination with patterns and color from world cultures and my own smaller world from my garden.
